remax west houston: Should Your Local Taxing Authority Have Access To The MLS? - 08/10/09 12:05 PM
A friend of mine has a home. It's market value is 280k. It has a beautiful pool with tons of "interior improvements." When he purchased the house it came with the pool. All the upgrades were done within the last 3 years. The tax assessor currently has the home valued at 205k.

remax west houston: Personalities of Real Estate... - 06/30/09 09:06 AM
1. help ya Harry - A person who looks at houses on behalf of a relative or friend. This is a regular mistake that buyer's make in my opinion. The interested buyer should be looking for themselves. Aunt Susie or Budy Brad will never know what it is exactly you want.

You don't have to listen...
1. Once I was in a house showing a buyer when the phone rang. The voicemail picked up, it was the listing agent leaving advice about why reducing the sales price was a GREAT idea.

remax west houston: "All I Need Is The Internet & The MLS, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" - 05/02/09 01:22 PM
I've heard this before and I just heard it again. A homeowner boastfully exclaiming that all they need is their home on the MLS and the use of the iInternet & not a bunch of Hot Air from a Realtor®.
I also struggled on whether or not to make this a public

remax west houston: Making My Clients Life A Little Easier... - 05/01/09 01:02 PM
Yesterday I signed up with DocuSign. A real estate transaction involves lots of paperwork, signatures, initials & the delivering of these documents to and from all parties involved.
