New Jersey SMOG? Yep the 5th highest in the USA - 09/21/11 10:53 PM
New Jersey is the fifth-smoggiest state in the nation, according to a report that was released today by the nonprofit
organization Environment New Jersey. The report was compiled using federal Environmental Protection Agency air readings and ranked 5th in the nation by analyzing the number of days with elevated smog levels compared to the rest of the country.
New Jersey, had 35 more smoggy days in 2010 than Ohio and New York. It was tied with Pennsylvania.

HUD SECRETARY ANNOUNCES DISASTER ASSISTANCE FOR NEW JERSEY STORM VICTIMS Foreclosure protection offered to displaced families in three counties
WASHINGTON – U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan today announced HUD will speed federal disaster assistance to the State of New Jersey and provide support to homeowners and low-income renters forced from their homes following severe storms and flooding last month.
Yesterday, President Obama issued a disaster declaration for Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties. The President’s declaration allows HUD to offer foreclosure relief and other assistance to certain families living in these counties.

Some of us wonder what has happened to America, others just go about their daily lives like none of this matters. We all need to  pay attention to what our politicians are doing and why we are in the situation we are in today.
