Price reductions ABOUND in Chicago and suburbs post-tax credit! - 06/01/10 02:44 PM
With the federal $8000 tax credit expired exactly a month ago today, I have seen SIGNIFICANT price reductions on many listings (ours and others) as sellers are coming to grips with the fact their property didn't sell when the push was in full force. As a consequence, banks and traditional sellers have dropped prices well in excess of the $8000 amount formerly being offered by the government--some of the reductions are 25k or more!
