bucket: Do You Have A Hole In A Bucket? - 09/07/06 05:05 PM
I read a book recently called, "The 7 Deadly Sins of Advisor Marketing". Author Martin R. Baird says that he is always amazed at how hard many advisors work to grow their business. But he mentions that some of them spend more time trying to find new clients than trying to keep their current clientale. Baird refers to this as a hole in a bucket. You must continue to fill the bucket or it will drain completely empty. I agree 100%! I always say that I never believe in a closed deal. I feel that once a client chooses to do business with me, he/she is a client for
