To my knowledge, this first time this happened to me was in 2008, but four years later it is a common occurrence at open houses. Yes, a young prospective buyer Googled my name as he stood in the living room of my open house today.   Consumers do it at open houses, before listing appointments and before agreeing to work with a new agent.

Josh and I previewed commercial property in San Pedro this week for a client interested in work/live space.  Since we were only a few blocks from the LA Port we decided to cruise by the area and snap a photo of USS Iowa in her new permanent berth in San Pedro.

The luxury home market in Palos Verdes recorded six sales over $2,000,000 for the month of July.  There are currently 61 luxury homes for sale on the Palos Verdes Peninsula with list price above $2M.
Here's a very telling number:  21 Palos Verdes luxury homes over $2M are currently pending sales.  No doubt about it the luxury market in Palos Verdes is seeing an upswing not witnessed since 2007.

I'm a novice at this, but it is necessary on so many levels I begin posting videos.  First, we're a visual species.  Real estate should be filled with unforgettable photos and videos that quickly sear the images into the memory card of the viewer.  Video is a quick, efficient and effective way to accomplish this task.

2012 is slipping into the history book far too fast.  August already?  I'm on target with most of my work goals but it really is time to plan a little getaway, no, let me rephrase, another trip of a lifetime.  Yes, I booked a week in Paris and another few days of riding the rails through Switzerland (home to my paternal relatives) plus a few days lounging in the South of France.
