hermosa beach: Manhattan, Hermosa or Redondo – Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe - 04/26/12 02:24 PM
You’ve decided you want to live in one of Los Angeles’ South Bay Beach Cities but which one is right for you? Sometimes the choice is dictated by price (Redondo Beach is the most affordable), sometimes it is dictated by location (Manhattan Beach is closest to Los Angeles International Airport) and other times your heart is set on a beach cottage within walking distance of the sand (Hermosa has retained much of its beach lifestyle charm). If you’re uncertain about which beach city is for you, my best advice is to spend a few hours in each of the cities. (4 comments)
hermosa beach: Hermosa Beach Luxury Home Sales - March 2012 - 04/03/12 01:14 PM
The lure of the beach can be very strong on a perfect Southern California day. With the sun shining bright, a light coastal wind blowing and the waves rhythmically rolling in and out the setting can be difficult to resist. Except for the parking, it is a heaven-sent scene.
Some people avoid the parking issues and opt to live at the beach, and high-end luxury home sales in Hermosa Beach reflect this ongoing desire to see, smell, feel and hear the Pacific Ocean from the comfort and convenience of your beach abode.

hermosa beach: Beach Cities - Luxury Homes Sales for February 2012 - 03/09/12 12:40 PM
Manhattan Beach was the only one of the beach cities to post luxury home sales during the month of February 2012. Redondo and Hermosa did not break the $2,000,000 barrier with any sale during the month.
Property One, located on a walk street and close to the water, sold for $3,000,000. The 3-bedroom, 3-bath 1,980 square ft. home claimed 3,605 square ft. of prime Manhattan Beach land. The property was on the market for 26 days and original list price was $3,399,000. The $1500 plus a sq. ft. sale price drives home the old adage: Location matters. Property (3 comments)
hermosa beach: Luxury Homes in Hermosa Beach–Ocean Front Living on the Beach - 02/19/12 03:57 PM
The most expensive high-end luxury home for sale in Hermosa Beach, CA is a 7 bedroom, 10 bath contemporary beauty located on The Strand with nearly 10,000 square feet of living space. The celebrity worthy trophy home is listed for $14,950,000. You can watch the waves and the volleyball matches from the comfort of your front patio, but be sure to wear your sunglasses as the sun shines often and the sand is close enough to get kicked in your eyes. If a cute little beach cottage in need of some TLC is more your speed, the least expensive single (2 comments)
