What a way to Start your Day - 04/24/10 11:25 AM
This morning was one of those mornings.  I don't know why some days start out like this but I react a lot differently then I use to.   I broke a glass, ok, take a few minutes and clean it up.  The dog, really my daughters dog but she just got an apartment and I got a fifteen year old dog who thinks she is a cat, wanted to go outside and I am getting late for the office.   Off she goes to trot around the yard like the Queen of Siam and she is totally ignoring my request to come in … (7 comments)

Need a Little Help - 04/19/10 03:20 PM
I have been having some issues with plantings that are literally six feet away from each other.  I have a small arbor and picket fence in front of my home.  I plant in front of the fence on each side of the arbor.  The arbor cannot be wider than five feet and yet almost every year the right side of the arbor does wonderful and the left gets shot very quickly.  I water the same, they get the same sunlight, no trees or other plantings near either one.   Could it be a cat or some other critters urine.  Does anyone have … (1 comments)

Running Away from Home - 04/14/10 06:44 AM
Today I am running away, not forever, just for two days, but most assuredly I am running away.  No computers for this girl.  You are not allowed to run away with a computer.  Ok, I'll take my cell phone, but no dress up clothes, no makeup and only the most comfortable shoes.  Hip Hip Hooray for me, off to Montauk (in NY we call it the end)  I will read and look at the ocean and have lobster rolls and maybe even a bloody mary for lunch.  All the crazies will have to be put on hold.
