Eataly NY is this somewhat new and definitely marvelous market on 23rd Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City.  The concept is just great.  It is, for want of a definition a huge Italian market, enclosed, with a fabulous array of cheeses, bread, olive oil, meats, olives, fish, desserts, spices and on and on.

Chat Noir is a great french style tea house located at 230 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre NY.  It is a wonderful change to the usual hustle and bustle lunch and dinner restaurants located in the Village of Rockville Centre.
