This is a great post written by Judi Barrett and I wanted to share it with someone who might have missed it.  I think a lot of us get stuck sometimes and dancing in the rain is how I started to follow some really great AR bloggers.

I Was Talking To A Peach - 08/21/11 11:07 AM
I was talking to a peach and it was before five and so it did not entail any adult beverages.  I knew I was talking to a peach because I have a decent ear and I know a peach when I hear one.

This is the perfect night on Long Island.  For those of you who were here and left, I share.  Craig and Gerry remember.  Those nights when just maybe it would rain but then again maybe not. 
A warm night but a night that the wind would rustle those trees and send just the right breeze in the windows.  A night to drive with the windows down and see who else could appreciate such a night.  A night when parents sit outside and listen for the little people through open windows.

Rockville Centre NY UFSD - 08/11/11 02:23 PM
The Rockville Centre Union Free School District has stated that the first day of school is September 6th, 2011.  The full calendar of the 2011 and 2012 school year can be accessed on http://www.rvcschools.org/ .
The five grammar schools are Riverside, Watson, Wilson, Hewitt and Covert.  There is one middle school and the high school is South Side High.  You can access the New York State School Report Cards on https://www.nystart.gov/publicweb

Five Pennies Creamery Rockville Centre NY 11570 - 08/01/11 04:31 PM
The Five Pennies Creamery in Rockville Centre NY is a true old fashioned ice cream parlor.  All the ice cream is made on the premises and there is a huge menu of flavors.  They also make a great milk shake and the best egg creams I have had since leaving the Bronx.
