A model train show will be held on Saturday and Sunday September 29th and 30th at Mitchel Athletic Field. Mitchel Athletic Complex is a sports and recreation location in Uniondale, NY at Mitchell County Park located at 1 Charles Lindbergh Blvd in Uniondale, NY 11553. The times are: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 for Nassau County adult residents and $6 for non-residents, $3 for resident children 5 to 12 and $4 for non-resident children. Molloy College in Rockville Centre NY will open it's first residence hall this Fall. The new residence hall will provide Molloy with the ability to attract students from other parts of the Country who were unable to attend when it was strictly a commuter school.
