We created hundreds of thousands of jobs.... OOPS, wait a second we lied? - 11/27/09 10:51 AM
We created hundreds of thousands of jobs.... OOPS, wait a second we lied?
We have Global Warming....Crap...someone saw the facts in our own emails?
We will have the most transparent administration in history..... Hell no, they can't see my grades or actual birth certificate.
We will be bi-partisan...Buy them or part with them!
We will control spending... George spent what? Well we can do better than that!
We are looking bad for 2010? Let's soak the rich and use the money to buy votes and call it a jobs bill. We will just make $%#^ up and call it a job. … (13 comments)

Hey, what the heck, it worked for the global warming crowd. Right? - 11/27/09 10:35 AM
I hereby declare the world to be in a period of "Global COOLING," the temperature outside is cooler than last year and the forecast calls for cooler temps in the future.
I declare "myself" an expert and shall and will manipulate any and all data to support my declarations. Anyone disagreeing with me will be demonized and destroyed in the media, for I am the expert and they are mere idiots.
I will cause governments to tremble and commit "trillions" of dollars in an effort to combat global cooling before it destroys the planet by Tuesday of next week.

Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organized resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims and much more.
Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4?

Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same? I don't have his new email address.

Are your commissions under attack? - 11/21/09 08:39 AM
Are your commissions under attack?
Where is NAR, when it comes to protecting your hard earned money?
Asset companies think nothing of slashing your commission on a deal and consistently do it on most REO deals being done today. Yet they accepted the deal and make the agent an unwilling financial participant in the deal.
Asset companies follow no rules but expect agents to adhere to the ethics of making the customer happy and not making the deal come unraveled over commissions. The asset company will walk away from a deal in a heartbeat and does if the agent won't cut … (17 comments)

Progress....... - 11/18/09 04:47 PM

The new office is coming along very nicely. We will be moved in by December 31st, what a great feeling it is to grow for the community. State of the art and full of Real Estate pros, what a way to help Tyler and all of East Texas. Progress happens when you plan and then execute the plan.
I love it.

Not good - 11/16/09 08:37 PM
According to the latest numbers from the Treasury Department, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs are holding the bag on 60 percent of the world's derivatives - an astonishing $120 trillion between them, Still reports.
According to Treasury figures at the end of June, J P Morgan held a staggering $80 trillion in derivative exposure, 50 times more than its $1.6 trillion in assets. Goldman Sachs is in an even more precarious condition. It holds $40 trillion in derivatives backed by assets of only $120 billion - a leverage of 333-to-1.
"To put this into perspective," said Still, "The Gross Domestic Product of … (13 comments)

Fun at Barton Creek in Austin......with KW - 11/11/09 04:25 PM

Althea Osborn and myself. Mrs. Osborn is the #1 profit share recipient at Keller Williams and the nicest lady you would ever want to meet. We had a 60's theme party and she nailed it.

The Auction part of the evening was a riot. Fun was had by all.

Never under estimate the heavy guy with a bet on the line. :) Golf was a blast and deer were every where. If you get a chance to play Barton Creek in Austin Texas do it. It is a great experience.

Low Tax states grow... Well duh! - 11/08/09 02:06 PM

The biggest contrast between the two states shows up in "net internal migration," the demographer's term for the difference between the number of Americans who move into a state from another and the number who move out of it to another. Between April 1, 2000, and June 30, 2007, an average of 3,247 more Americans moved out of California than into it every week, according to the Census Bureau. Over the same period, Texas saw a net gain, in an average week, of 1,544 people. Aside from Louisiana and Mississippi, which lost population to other states because of Hurricane Katrina, … (11 comments)

Golf again. - 11/08/09 10:20 AM

The wife and I played golf yesterday again. I don't know if there is a better time to play than in the fall. The colors and the temperature make it all just perfect. I tried out a new putter and it worked great. Shot 76 in spite of the fact I felt unsettled over the ball all day. But what the heck, it was a blast. I hope everyone gets out and enjoys this time of year. Anything outdoors right now seems gret and rewarding. Just walking the dogs is fun. Headed for Barton Creek on Monday in Austin, I … (7 comments)

I just need to find America now. - 11/08/09 09:27 AM
America entered a new chapter in its history last evening. Under the cover of darkness and without a shoot being fired we had socialists successfully take over the House of Representatives. Our country is more divided than it ever has been. Our enemy has laid in wait for generations with patience and hatred for our country and last evening successfully over stepped its constitutional bounds in order to enslave a once proud country.
Political correctness has allowed our enemies to walk and live freely among us, only to kill or destroy us when the timing is right. Last night was no … (6 comments)

We need to get this corrected.... - 11/07/09 09:03 PM
The one domestic automaker that has paid its own freight could end up penalized for its success, while the government indefinitely subsidizes competitors that would have died without government aid. Without the GM and Chrysler bailouts, there would be a vast surplus of unemployed autoworkers. But since the government saved thousands of jobs, the unions have more bargaining power, which they seem poised to use against a company that has stayed off the federal dole.
But the domestic auto industry is still a mess, and the huge subsidies at Chrysler and GM could inhibit an overall return to profitability rather than … (5 comments)

No grandstanding or photo opps, just love........................ - 11/07/09 08:13 PM
It has been learned that George W Bush and his lovely wife Laura went to Fort Hood, Texas Last evening for a visit. The entire thing was done in secret and without fanfare.
They comforted and listened to families for up to 2 hours. No matter the crisis, class always shines through.
Thank you President and Mrs. Bush for your efforts to show love and comfort to these families in their hour of need and pain.
Thank you and Bless you.

How does someone clearly on the radar end up being transferred to Texas instead of being detained. I pray for all the families that lost loved ones in Fort Hood. It should have never happened and as a nation we share your pain and outrage. Some day and I hope real soon, we will quit affording rights and privileges to those that would seek to do us harm.
Bless you and yours in your moment of grief. Myself and my fanily send you love and a hope for a better day.

Barney the idiot..... - 11/07/09 10:06 AM
Democratic Rep. Barney Frank took a dig Friday at the Republican lawmaker who organized a protest by conservatives against health care legislation.
Frank, a Massachusetts liberal, told an audience: "Some of the people (at the rally) that wanted to engage me in conversation appeared to have been the losers in the 'Are you smarter than Michele Bachmann contest?"'
Well Barney, that makes them smarter than you by a mile. You and Chris Dodd are more responsible than anyone or anything for the mortgae crisis. No one will ever cover it and expose you for what you are, but the truth is, … (10 comments)

Oh yeah, they are real smooth...... - 11/04/09 02:48 PM
The White House distanced itself Wednesday from Democratic losses in two states, saying the races for governor hinged on local issues and were not a referendum on President Barack Obama.
Still, exit polls showed more than four in 10 voters in Virginia said their view of Obama factored into their choice. Those voters roughly split between expressing support and opposition for the president. The Obama factor was similar in New Jersey, though there were slightly more voters who said the president did not factor into their choice.
Obama had inserted himself into the races, campaigning for both Corzine and Deeds and … (10 comments)

I saved 1000 jobs by thinking about it! - 11/04/09 08:51 AM
President Barack Obama's economic recovery program saved 935 jobs at the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council, an impressive success story for the stimulus plan. Trouble is, only 508 people work there.
The Georgia nonprofit's inflated job count is among persisting errors in the government's latest effort to measure the effect of the $787 billion stimulus plan despite White House promises last week that the new data would undergo an "extensive review" to root out errors discovered in an earlier report.
About two-thirds of the 14,506 jobs claimed to be saved under one federal office, the Administration for Children and Families at … (14 comments)

A gift as it turns out.... - 11/02/09 04:58 PM
Government investigators say the U.S. government is unlikely to recover all of its investment in General Motors or Chrysler because the companies' value would need to "grow substantially above what they have been in the past."
A Government Accountability Office report released Monday is the latest review to cast doubt on the likelihood that taxpayers will fully recoup more than $80 billion invested in the two U.S. automakers.
Treasury officials told the GAO that they are considering initial public offerings or private sales to dispose of the government's nearly 10 percent stake in Chrysler and 61 percent share of GM. But … (14 comments)

Time for some fun. - 11/02/09 01:23 PM
I get to have some fun next week. I am going to Barton Creek resort in Austin on Monday and have a meeting on Tuesday morning followed by golf and diner with business friends.
Barton Creek is one of my favorite places to play golf and relax. All 3 courses are great and offer some wonderful challenges.
Not to mention some quite time. I could use some of that right about now. The next 3 months are packed, so this will be a great time to relax and win some money on the golf course.
I hope everyone gets out and … (5 comments)

Now tell me how healthcare will work...... - 11/01/09 10:37 AM
Two large union locals in Kentucky and Ford's home city of Dearborn, Michigan, rejected the contract Friday, sealing its fate. Those unions together represent 13,000 Ford workers. Exact tallies weren't available, but at least 12 UAW locals representing about 27,500 workers so far have vetoed the deal, many overwhelmingly. Only about four locals with a total of 7,000 members favored the pact.
Ford sought the deal to bring its labor costs in line with Detroit rivals Chrysler Group LLC and General Motors Co., both of which won concessions from the union as they headed into bankruptcy protection earlier this year. Under … (9 comments)

Lets make the most of it..... - 11/01/09 08:16 AM
Well, it looks as if we did get the tax credit for home buyer's extended. As real estate pros we should do every thing possible to take advantage of it.
With almost a TRILLION dollars spent bailing out banks and such, this is the one thing that actually got to the end user. Amazing to me, that under the basic rules of business, the end user is supreme. Yet under the basic rules of government they are not.
Lets all do the most we can with this small amount for the public.

I don't think so.... - 11/01/09 08:08 AM
President Barack Obama is making a last-minute campaign appearance for New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine's re-election bid.
Obama's scheduled to appear Sunday at a pair of rallies for the only incumbent governor seeking re-election. Just one of two governors' offices on the ballot for Tuesday's elections, the White House is aware Democratic losses would be spun as a referendum on Obama.

A last minute pitch in the ultra liberal northeast. This is grandstanding so they can say their polocies work. Try supporting a canidate in Texas and see what happens.....

Quotes for the day... - 11/01/09 07:58 AM
But we don't have an example of a democratic society existing in a socialist economy - which is the only real alternative to capitalism in the modern world. Peter L. Berger
Class struggle: external peace, international solidarity, peace among peoples. This is the sacred slogan of international socialist democracy that liberates nations. Karl Liebknecht
Environmentalists are a socialist group of individuals that are the tool of the Democrat Party. I'm proud to say that they are my enemy. They are not Americans, never have been Americans, never will be Americans. Don Young
Great Socialist statesmen aren't made, they're still-born. Hector Hugh … (5 comments)
