Do you visualize your success? If not, why not? If you do visualize your success then how do you visualize it? I have a vision board in my office and I love it. If you don't have a vision board you can see every day I recommend you make one as soon as possible. It's actually very fun and quite entertaining once you get started. Some people like to keep their … (5 comments)

President Obama recently shifted authority for approving sales to China of missile and space technology from the White House to the Commerce Department -- a move critics say will loosen export controls and potentially benefit Chinese missile development.
The president issued a little-noticed "presidential determination" Sept. 29 that delegated authority for determining whether missile and space exports should be approved for China to Commerce Secretary Gary Locke.
The presidential notice alters a key provision of the 1999 Defense Authorization Act that required that the president notify Congress whether a transfer of missile and space technology to China would harm the U.S. … (6 comments)

No people in history have ever survived who thought they could protect their freedom by making themselves inoffensive to their enemies.

Negotiation in the classic diplomatic sense assumes parties more anxious to agree than to disagree.

homes in tyler: Business like it has always been done.... - 10/09/09 02:54 PM
Politicians say solutions aren't simple, but they really are. If you make something complicated you are almost always doing one of two things. You are either trying to hide or cover-up some previous mistake or malfeasance. Or you have something hidden in the solution for somebody else you want to pay back. Both are common in Washington as well as state government.  Do you realize that our Political leaders do things everyday that would get you and I fired in the real world "we" live in? A politicians vote is for sale on almost every bill that is introduced. This is … (5 comments)

Symbolism over Substance wins again...
President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for giving the world "hope for a better future" and striving for nuclear disarmament.
Iraq, Afghanistan -- have not been solved...The man of 'change' hasn't changed anything yet."
Nobel Committee Chairman Thorbjoern Jagland said, "We hope this can contribute a little bit to enhance what he is trying to do,"
So today in keeping with this theme, I herby present the Super bowl trophy to the Detroit Lions. The World Series is awarded to the Chicago Cubs and the L A Clippers win the NBA Championship.

homes in tyler: Thought for the day... - 10/07/09 12:34 PM
Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on   Alzheimer's research.
This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

From a friend..... I thought it was hilarious.

homes in tyler: It's simple.... - 10/06/09 01:31 PM
I often wonder how many people really think that the "government" actually creates jobs. Politicians take credit for creating jobs everyday all day, but do they actually do any job creation? The short answer is NO! Oh they will twist it and spin it to look that way, but in reality they don't do anything but cost jobs with their indecisiveness and turmoil.

Think about it for a minute. If you are a business owner how the hell do plan for anything, with the "geniuses" we have in charge in Government. One day they are raising taxes the next day … (9 comments)

International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge said Monday that the choice of Rio as host of the 2016 Olympic Games was proof that the IOC did not base its vote on money - or else Chicago would have taken the accolade.
"If we had thought about how to make a lot of money we would have chosen Chicago," Rogge said as the body would down the Olympic movement's XIIIth congress.

homes in tyler: Trouble brewing.... - 10/05/09 01:56 PM
In the most profound financial change in recent Middle East history, Gulf Arabs are planning - along with China, Russia, Japan and France - to end dollar dealings for oil, moving instead to a basket of currencies including the Japanese yen and Chinese yuan, the euro, gold and a new, unified currency planned for nations in the Gulf Co-operation Council, including Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Qatar.
Secret meetings have already been held by finance ministers and central bank governors in Russia, China, Japan and Brazil to work on the scheme, which will mean that oil will no longer be … (7 comments)

Yeah, I trust these guy's.
According to their own auditors, Medicare knowingly overpays for almost everything it buys. Examples include:
-- $7,215 to rent an oxygen concentrator, when the purchase price is $600.
-- $4,018 for a standard wheelchair, while the private sector pays $1,048.
-- $1,825 for a hospital bed, compared to an Internet price of $1,071.
-- $3,335 for a respiratory pump, versus an advertised price of $1,987.
-- $82 for a diabetic supply kit, instead of a $47 price on the Web.
Last year, the Health and Human Services Department tried to replace its archaic fixed-price fee … (7 comments)

homes in tyler: What is coming to a country near you...... - 10/04/09 06:47 AM
For years California has been a liberal social experiment. High Taxes, liberal politics and environmental policies that hurt both the public and businesses alike. I Ran a company in the late 1990's that quit and I do mean quit, doing business in California all together. Our legal costs were 500% more than all other states combined, while it was a fraction of our business. Our warranty claims ran at a rate of 1000% higher than anywhere else in the world. It was easier to do business overseas than in California.
One in four American mortgages that are "under water", meaning they … (5 comments)

The Democrats wanted a financial crisis and energy crisis to get their candidate in the White House. People have no earthly idea the lengths politicians will go too, to push an agenda down our throats. They will deny it to everyone that will listen to them. However the proof is there if you look for it. The Republicans lost their heart and their will to fight years ago when the media started an all out assault on their ideals.Let's start with the fact that most of the world's oil that is brought out of the ground is basically being held hostage … (5 comments)

Have you ever wondered how some people even survive with the attitude they poses? You know the type. They're the one that if they won the lottery, they would complain about the taxes. I will give you some advice about people like that. Run, I mean run away from them as fast and as far as you can. Negative people thrive on the destruction of other people. Your business life depends on you being ready and positive at all times not down and depressed. Never wish anyone … (10 comments)

homes in tyler: I believe that an uninspired mind is a wasted mind. - 09/30/09 12:49 PM
I believe that an uninspired mind is a wasted mind. I also believe that the more you use your mind at any age, the sharper it will be. With Alzheimer's and other diseases that affect mental function at all time high, I believe it is more important than ever to give our mind a workout every day. Not doing so, encourages diseases to take over our minds.
It is also my belief that you must be active physically. You may be over weight as I am, but you can still have an active life style. I love to play Golf and … (9 comments)

How many People actually think that President Obama is going to Denmark to get the Olympics for Chicago is a good thing?
I know one thing he would not be going unless it was a done deal already!Don't kid yourself, he ain't begging, he is bribing. This administration is in such desperate shape for some positive news, that buying the Olympics is a small price to pay for 15 minutes of fame.
Who cares if half the people in Chicago don't want it, this about our image.....

When you play chicken on the highway with a guy who's driving "Blind" you will loose every time.
Iran has no fear of sanctions or force or really "mean" words from this administration. They know the rest of the world will just give them what they want or need through the back door, while  we guard the front door.

homes in tyler: How we got here..... - 09/28/09 03:20 PM
In 1944, a prominent petroleum geologist named Everette DeGolyer reported to the U.S. government that he was certain the Middle East nations were sitting atop at least 25 billion barrels of crude oil, at least 5 billion of which were in Saudi Arabia. Not reported at that time were his unofficial estimates of up to 300 billion barrels of oil-a third of which he thought underlay Saudi Arabia. In a report to the State Department, DeGolyer's team commented that "The oil in this region is the greatest single prize in all history."
At that time, the Middle East produced slightly less … (4 comments)
