homes tyler texas: Obama giving financial advice - 09/22/09 09:39 AM
Obama, will urge world leaders this week to launch a new push in November to re-balance the world economy. A document outlining the U.S. position ahead of the September 24-25 Group 20 of summit in Pittsburgh said exporters, which include China, Germany and Japan, should consume more, while debtors like the United States ought to boost savings. "The world will face anemic growth if adjustments in one part of the global economy are not matched by offsetting adjustments in other parts."
Obama giving financial advice, is akin to Jimmy Carter advising Israel how to deal with the Middle East. Both are (10 comments)
I love silly signs and quotes of course. These are pretty funny so I thought I would post a few funny one for everyone to see. Some I am sure you have all seen before, but what the heck, fun is fun. http://agentrecruit.com http://kwtyler.com
Kind of fun, right. Have a great evening and have some fun. (10 comments)
Obama blanketed the airwaves Sunday, appearing on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and the Hispanic network Univision in a bid to promote his health care plan. But he also very deliberately used the unprecedented media blitz to chide those journalists who cover him, delivering a similar lecture on every network except Univision about the importance of changing the way media prioritize stories. "The easiest way to get on television right now is to be really rude. If you're just being sensible and giving people the benefit of the doubt, and you're making your arguments, you don't get time on the (12 comments)
homes tyler texas: The jokes on us.... - 09/20/09 02:49 PM
If our elected officials don't vote on removing ACORN from the list of recipients of federal largesse, then all this outrage by them is window dressing. The public actually thinks they are going to do something. On the surface it looks as if ACORN is done, but wait, after a closer look they are still on the payroll. U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., says unless there is such an action, it will mean the recent votes on that very issue were nothing but "cover."
ACORN's corrupt influence on our last presidential election cannot be overlooked. They have bragged openly about putting (6 comments)
homes tyler texas: They are mad because they got caught..... - 09/20/09 12:42 PM
Soon after the controversy erupted, chief organizer Bertha Lewis released a statement suggesting race was behind an attempt by conservative critics to "destroy" ACORN. ACORN provides assistance to low-income and often minority communities. Lewis claimed the tapes were "doctored" and threatened to sue FOX News -- which broadcast the tapes but did not produce them -- and others. But after Lewis claimed O'Keefe tried the same "scam" in many other locations and failed, O'Keefe continued to release more tapes in more locations showing ACORN workers giving him and his partner helpful advice.
Lewis continued to suggest her group was being (10 comments)

homes tyler texas: Play all your cards Nancy...... - 09/18/09 01:24 PM
Ok folks, I have tried to stay away from politics this week, posting just a few quotes from other folks. I almost made it a whole week. Now we have Nancy Pelosi playing the fear card. I can't keep quite any longer this week folks. So here goes! Nancy Pelosi is a two faced coward! Here behavior is deplorable. How the hell can she be afraid of anything when she hides from the issues when she goes home for summer break! If there is trouble it is because of her and her unwillingness to listen to any and I do mean (10 comments)

homes tyler texas: The amazing thing about Real Estate - 09/17/09 09:01 PM
The amazing thing about Real Estate is, that it is never boring. The recent focus from NAR is on the $8000 tax refund for first time home buyers. Every effort is being done to extend the program. While this could help, it is clear the real issue that needs to be addressed is lending. An extension needs to backed with some serious adjustments to lending and appraisal rules.
Some REO companies are refusing pre-approval letters from Bank of America. They simply are not worth the paper they are written on. Good lenders are vital to the housing industry, but large (2 comments)
homes tyler texas: The Zoo - 09/16/09 10:39 PM
Tyler, Texas Zoo Tyler has a great zoo. If you get a chance, visit a zoo. Even better, take a child or loved one, it is a great place to share an afternoon. In my hectic world the zoo relaxes me every time. It is a mini vacation and recharges my batteries. http://agentrecruit.com http://kwtyler.com
We have 81 agents and tonight we had a little get together to celebrate the slab being poured on a brand new location. We are investing in our community and it feels great. We had Boren Scott Title from Tyler and the Mansions at the Cascades on hand and a good time was had by all. I really wonder why an agent would be with a broker that doesn't have fun. If you are not having fun in your life, why not? I am having the time of my life.
I see some of the most beautiful pictures on Active Rain. While not a great photographer myself, my wife Denise is capable of some great work. The sunset above was captured right after Hurricane Ike hit our home in Conroe, Texas last year. I love it. http://agentrecruit.com http://kwtyler.com
homes tyler texas: Will it or won't it? - 09/15/09 07:19 PM
Will it or won't it? The $ 8000 tax credit is about to expire and the push is on to extend it past the end of November. I think it was a great idea, but to extend it in its present form might not be the best idea. You see with loan qualifications at the tightest in our history, many people were not able to take advantage of the $8000. Giving $4500 towards a car and $8000 toward a home seems a little unbalanced, so I would propose the following.
An off the top tax credit, not a refund, of (8 comments)
