You see we all have computers in our life and we would never knowingly download a virus or do anything to corrupt the information on this piece of necessary equipment, now would we?
Yet as agents we will sometimes allow negative press or negative people to form our opinion or impact the way we do business. In effect downloading a virus into our very own human computer.

keller williams east texas: Is customer service missing in your business? - 09/26/11 05:11 PM
Is customer service missing in your business? I had a great visit with a seller today in Tyler, Texas about his total dislike of real estate agents and after much discussion finally traced it to the fact that he had received terrible service from at least 2 other agents who had had his house listed. Amazingly enough, he had come by to say he had gotten great service from an agent in our office. It is amazing that in a day where good customers are increasingly hard to come by, some agents still believe that a sign in the yard and (3 comments)
keller williams east texas: "It's not rocket science!" - 04/05/10 04:49 PM
My version of "It's not rocket science!" * Homeowners tax credit- Every year when a borrower receives their mortgage statement from your mortgage company for tax purposes there would be a box that was checked Yes or No. If no mortgage payments were made late(30 days) that year, the borrower would receive a tax credit of up to $5000. Up to, because if you only paid in $3000 that is the max you could claim. No refund on taxes you did not pay. This credit would continue for 5 years, making it $25,000 if you paid your mortgage on time. * (8 comments)
keller williams east texas: Local lending is coming back strong. - 03/12/10 03:16 PM
Today's world of real estate is to say the least, interesting. Sellers have to compete with short sales, foreclosures and a host of other problems plaguing the market. Is there hope? Yes, of course, but first we must realize that as real estate professionals, we need to be extremely knowledgeable and patient. No longer is it good enough to just show homes and write a contract and go to a closing. We must be the calming voice of reason in a storm of ever changing rules and regulations. More and more, the real estate agent is the one that holds the (5 comments)

My America:· Is chasing fireflies on a summer night.· Sleeping with the windows open.· Driving with the top down.· Shelling black eyed peas on the porch with grandpa.· Walking barefoot thru a fresh plowed field.· Singing in church.· Singing in the shower.· Just Singing.· That first kiss.· Watching high school football.· Watching little league baseball· Street dances in little country towns.· State fairs.· Not letting the flag touch the ground.· Neighborhood cookouts.· Mama's banana pudding.· Learning to drive on a country dirt road.· The smell of fresh cut grass.· Ice cold soda on a hot August day.· Skipping rocks.· Pitching (11 comments)
keller williams east texas: Well, lets be a cry baby...... - 01/04/10 06:59 AM
A Democratic senator from Nebraska who played a crucial role in getting health care legislation passed in the Senate last month has asked South Carolina's top attorney to "call off the dogs" -- a reference to the state official's threat to challenge the constitutionality of the bill. In a phone call Thursday, Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., urged South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster to reconsider, Politico reported.
Hey Ben, you made the deal now deal with the fall out. Amazingly cowardice of you to think you might walk away with no repercussions, after robbing a bank and getting caught.
•· Real Estate sales will gradually get better as the year goes on. •· Foreclosures will increase in the first half of 2010. Lenders sat on foreclosures in 2009 as a favor to Obama. New Year, new deal. •· The market has bottomed out. •· After the 2010 elections the economy should show some excellent growth. There is a lot of money that is sitting on the sidelines and is waiting for a more balanced political hierarchy. •· The healthcare bill will pass and will be tied up in court for years because of all the (10 comments)
keller williams east texas: FOR SALE!!!! - 12/22/09 03:25 PM
Ok, It's illegal, it's unconstitutional, it violates equal protection rules and laws. But I will sell my vote in the next election for 10 million Euros, or 18 million dollars, tax free. It's simple you pay it you get it. While I am not a Senator, you can still get my vote for a great deal. Yes it's immoral and self serving but hey I am just following the example our leaders have set. For an extra 3 Million tax free, I will relocate to a district of your choice and establish residence for one election cycle. I will of course (7 comments)

-- Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., won between $100 million and $300 million in additional federal aid for her state's Medicaid population. The deal, secured before she cast her critical vote in favor of bringing the health bill to the floor, was immediately dubbed the "Louisiana Purchase," though the actual Louisiana Purchase was considerably cheaper. -- Vermont and Massachusetts got $1.2 billion in Medicaid money -- a change that was described as a correction to the current system which exempts those two states because they have robust health care systems. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders also boasted Saturday that he requested and won (16 comments)

We will control spending... George spent what? Well we can do better than that! We are looking bad for 2010? Let's soak the rich and use the money to buy votes and call it a jobs bill. We will just make $%#^ up and call it a job. (13 comments)
The new KW Tyler Building. We are investing in our community in a big way and are looking forward to the move in late December. The agents have really stepped it up and are selling and listing at a record pace. The new year will bring growth and prosperity to East Texas and we will be leading the way. We are growing while others are pulling back. http://agentrecruit.com http://kwtyler.com
keller williams east texas: Now tell me how healthcare will work...... - 11/01/09 10:37 AM
Two large union locals in Kentucky and Ford's home city of Dearborn, Michigan, rejected the contract Friday, sealing its fate. Those unions together represent 13,000 Ford workers. Exact tallies weren't available, but at least 12 UAW locals representing about 27,500 workers so far have vetoed the deal, many overwhelmingly. Only about four locals with a total of 7,000 members favored the pact. Ford sought the deal to bring its labor costs in line with Detroit rivals Chrysler Group LLC and General Motors Co., both of which won concessions from the union as they headed into bankruptcy protection earlier this year. keller williams east texas: WHAT!!!!! - 10/16/09 02:57 PM
With the bulk of the $787 billion stimulus package still unspent, some lawmakers say, President Obama should not be adding yet another $13 billion to the deficit by funding a one-time $250 Social Security payment. After Obama called on Congress to approve the lump-sum payment to Social Security recipients to make up for not getting a cost-of-living increase, House Minority Leader John Boehner said he'd be "happy" to support it -- so long as Congress takes the money out of the stimulus. "The stimulus bill is not working. The American people are asking, 'Where are the jobs?' And if we're going (6 comments)

The "vast right-wing conspiracy" that attacked him during his presidency has been weakened, but continues to operate against President Obama, former President Clinton said Sunday. Yeah Right! Says a man that committed adultery in the oval office and set a new standard on what perjury is. The Liberal, Socialist crowd must think the whole World is stupid. Gotta love it. The more they talk the better anything else in the way of a government looks. (6 comments)
keller williams east texas: The jokes on us.... - 09/20/09 02:49 PM
If our elected officials don't vote on removing ACORN from the list of recipients of federal largesse, then all this outrage by them is window dressing. The public actually thinks they are going to do something. On the surface it looks as if ACORN is done, but wait, after a closer look they are still on the payroll. U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., says unless there is such an action, it will mean the recent votes on that very issue were nothing but "cover."
ACORN's corrupt influence on our last presidential election cannot be overlooked. They have bragged openly about putting (6 comments)
