"Everybody is entitled to their opinion, no mater how wrong it may be!"
I have been watching for sometime now what has been going on in this great country of ours and I am appalled to say the least.
If your Christian, white, have money, believe in self reliance, love your countries flag, or generally believe in the things this great country was founded on, you are labeled a trouble maker. What? Yes a trouble maker!
You now have more rights in our society if you believe in a religion that would kill you for disagreeing with it. Laws concerning our … (11 comments)

"The website, recovery.gov, reported $26.5 million going to 10 New Mexico congressional districts that do not exist," the group reports. "Those millions were credited with creating 61.5 jobs."
Additionally, $131,139 in funds reported for New Mexico were designated zip codes matching DuPont, Wash.; Richland, Wash.; and Gales Creek, Ore.
While the recovery website shows $373,874 was spent in zip code 97052, the group found that zero jobs were created. Likewise, $100,000 to zip code 86705 resulted in no additional jobs, and $36,218 to zip code 87258 purportedly created five jobs.
"None of these zip codes exist in New Mexico, or anywhere … (19 comments)

The Obama administration's decision to crank up airport security for passengers traveling to the U.S. from 14 nations has triggered a backlash of complaints from Muslim and privacy groups who say President Obama's response to terror threats amounts to little more than racial profiling.
But defenders of the policy say it's a carefully targeted way of zeroing in on those travelers most likely to pose a threat, and that hurt feelings shouldn't really matter after the United States narrowly averted, by sheer luck, a deadly midair bombing on an airliner heading to Detroit on Christmas Day.

OBAMA VOWED 8 X TO TELEVISE HEALTHCARE

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, piqued with White House pressure to accept the Senate health reform bill, threw a rare rhetorical elbow Tuesday at President Barack Obama, questioning his commitment to his 2008 campaign promises.

A leadership aide said it was no accident.

Pelosi emerged from a meeting with her leadership team and committee chairs in the Capitol to face an aggressive throng of reporters who immediately hit her with C-SPAN's request that she permit closed-door final talks on the bill to be televised.

A reporter reminded the San Francisco Democrat … (5 comments)

A Democratic senator from Nebraska who played a crucial role in getting health care legislation passed in the Senate last month has asked South Carolina's top attorney to "call off the dogs" -- a reference to the state official's threat to challenge the constitutionality of the bill.
In a phone call Thursday, Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., urged South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster to reconsider, Politico reported.

Hey Ben, you made the deal now deal with the fall out. Amazingly cowardice of you to think you might walk away with no repercussions, after robbing a bank and getting caught.

2010 Predictions and Goals

•·        Real Estate sales will gradually get better as the year goes on.
•·        Foreclosures will increase in the first half of 2010. Lenders sat on foreclosures in 2009 as a favor to Obama. New Year, new deal.
•·        The market has bottomed out.
•·        After the 2010 elections the economy should show some excellent growth. There is a lot of money that is sitting on the sidelines and is waiting for a more balanced political hierarchy.
•·        The healthcare bill will pass and will be tied up in court for years because of all the … (10 comments)

There's a hundred senators here. And I don't know if there's a senator that doesn't have something in this bill that was important to them. And if they don't have something in it important to them, then it doesn't speak well of them. That's what this legislation is all about. (Harry Reid, Dec. 21, 2009, Democratic press conference after cloture vote on health-care bill) Apparently, Sen. Reid sees the legislative process as an activity through which individual senators vie for taxpayer dollars to obtain results that are beneficial to them. If individual senators don't get something out of specific legislation, then … (10 comments)

Ok, It's illegal, it's unconstitutional, it violates equal protection rules and laws.
But I will sell my vote in the next election for 10 million Euros, or 18 million dollars, tax free.
It's simple you pay it you get it. While I am not a Senator, you can still get my vote for a great deal.
Yes it's immoral and self serving but hey I am just following the example our leaders have set. For an extra 3 Million tax free, I will relocate to a district of your choice and establish residence for one election cycle.
I will of course … (7 comments)

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took his GOP-blasting rhetoric to a new level Monday, comparing Republicans who oppose health care reform to lawmakers who clung to the institution of slavery more than a century ago.
The Nevada Democrat, in a sweeping set of accusations on the Senate floor, also compared health care foes to those who opposed women's suffrage and the civil rights movement.

In math class you must show your work.
In English class you must show your source for the material.
But in politics and environmental science you can throw out data that does not support your stance. Facts are facts and trillions and trillions are being spent and committed on false assertions.
It is a political power grab plain and simple. The more they control what we do, the more they control their power.

I hereby declare the world to be in a period of "Global COOLING," the temperature outside is cooler than last year and the forecast calls for cooler temps in the future.
I declare "myself" an expert and shall and will manipulate any and all data to support my declarations. Anyone disagreeing with me will be demonized and destroyed in the media, for I am the expert and they are mere idiots.
I will cause governments to tremble and commit "trillions" of dollars in an effort to combat global cooling before it destroys the planet by Tuesday of next week.

America entered a new chapter in its history last evening. Under the cover of darkness and without a shoot being fired we had socialists successfully take over the House of Representatives. Our country is more divided than it ever has been. Our enemy has laid in wait for generations with patience and hatred for our country and last evening successfully over stepped its constitutional bounds in order to enslave a once proud country.
Political correctness has allowed our enemies to walk and live freely among us, only to kill or destroy us when the timing is right. Last night was no … (6 comments)

Frank, a Massachusetts liberal, told an audience: "Some of the people (at the rally) that wanted to engage me in conversation appeared to have been the losers in the 'Are you smarter than Michele Bachmann contest?"'

The White House distanced itself Wednesday from Democratic losses in two states, saying the races for governor hinged on local issues and were not a referendum on President Barack Obama.
Still, exit polls showed more than four in 10 voters in Virginia said their view of Obama factored into their choice. Those voters roughly split between expressing support and opposition for the president. The Obama factor was similar in New Jersey, though there were slightly more voters who said the president did not factor into their choice.
Obama had inserted himself into the races, campaigning for both Corzine and Deeds and … (10 comments)

President Barack Obama's economic recovery program saved 935 jobs at the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council, an impressive success story for the stimulus plan. Trouble is, only 508 people work there.
The Georgia nonprofit's inflated job count is among persisting errors in the government's latest effort to measure the effect of the $787 billion stimulus plan despite White House promises last week that the new data would undergo an "extensive review" to root out errors discovered in an earlier report.
About two-thirds of the 14,506 jobs claimed to be saved under one federal office, the Administration for Children and Families at … (14 comments)

Obama's scheduled to appear Sunday at a pair of rallies for the only incumbent governor seeking re-election. Just one of two governors' offices on the ballot for Tuesday's elections, the White House is aware Democratic losses would be spun as a referendum on Obama.

The health care bill recently unveiled by Speaker Nancy Pelosi is over 1,900 pages for a reason. It is much easier to dispense goodies to favored interest groups if they are surrounded by a lot of legislative legalese. For example, check out this juicy morsel to the trial lawyers (page 1431-1433 of the bill):
Section 2531, entitled "Medical Liability Alternatives," establishes an incentive program for states to adopt and implement alternatives to medical liability litigation. [But]...... a state is not eligible for the incentive payments if that state puts a law on the books that limits attorneys' fees or imposes caps … (8 comments)
