Who is eligible to claim the $6,500 tax credit?Qualified move-up or repeat home buyers purchasing any kind of home are eligible to claim this credit. You can move up, down, sideways...There are no restrictions on what type of home you buy, it just has to be a personal residence so you could sell a million dollar home and buy a townhome for $150,000 and as long as you meet all the other limitations you qualify for the $6,500 tax-credit.

The title of this post comes from one of our agents vie a Linkedin status update. So I thought I would take approximately 12 and half minutes to see if this statement is in fact true!
This first chart is a look at the whole Omaha housing market.  We are currently sitting on 4.6 months of inventory based on pending home sales which is a 3.4 percent improvement when comparing April 09 to April 08 pending home sales.  Not a huge jump we are heading in a positive direction when other areas of the country are not as fortunate.  The Omaha housing market is … (0 comments)
