home inspection: My Client Needs....a babysitter?? - 10/28/07 10:18 AM

Ever had that question from out of area clients?  Do you know any childcare providers?  After School Programs?  Ministries?
I think this week was the 3rd time a client has asked me that in the course of an inspection.  On my way home, I thought about it.  I discussed it with the wife, and of course, she gets on the net looking it up.

home inspection: Does Blockbuster Do This? - 10/20/07 04:49 AM
I am a firm believer of shopping locally.  Not only does it show community committment, but you just don't see big chains putting forth an effort of support to the area they serve.

For example, Rick Holobowski and his wife, owners of MOVIE MADNESS in DeMotte.  When you walk up to his establishment, you find on his door, advertisement for the local school play, local bands playing in the area, or an event put on by the Chamber of Commerce or the local church.  On the right side of the building, you find a board with featured  homes in DeMotte.
