I recently signed up with realtor.com to receive clients from them who are looking in certain areas. So i chose a zip code that was available. I have received about 30 propsective clients. Some of them put their names, some include their phone numbers, and some give their email addresses. Since I've signed up I have called several of the ones that put their phone numbers down but to avail. I have emailed all of them with properties in the zip code that they are looking in and havent heard anything from them either. I was just wondering if anyone else out their has signed up with Realtor.Com. This program that i signed up for cost 75.00 a month. So far this for me has turned out to be a big ZERO. Please if anyone has this program and its worked i would be glad to hear from you.

Has anyone been having problems with their clients getting loans or refinancing from banks especially when the banks are saying that their that debt to income ratio currently excedes the amount that the bank will approve. I currently had one client who was 1% over what the bank would allow. They wouldnt approve the loan for the stinking little 1 % difference. Thats like nothing. I remember when banks where financing 125% over the cost of the properties. The banks where also doing that on car loans. So now the are being very strict about who they give their money to.

This is the first blog that I've written since New Years eve. I really must be slacking this year usually I have a few blogs under my belt in the first couple weeks of the new year. Ive been busy with clients but all of them seem to be waiting for the next real estate fall. I keep trying to tell them that the time is now the prices on the homes are stabilizing and will begin to rise in the nect coming months. One of the things that I can't believe this year is the weather. Who would have ever thought that we would have snow in 49 of the 50 states. The only state that didn't get snow was Hawaii. I dont see where global warming is occuring. We have had unseasonably cold weather in southwest Florida, and in the panhandle they had snow just this week. Well, I hope the rest of the year is going to be better for all of us.

I would like to wish all of the friends that I have made here on active rain a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year. Hopefully things will turn around for the real estate industry and the economy. The Christmas season this year was extremely good for some of the retail stores. Alot of them posted some big gains this month. Hopefully some of this enthusiasm will trickle down to the housing industry, the auto industry and all of the other factors that alter our economy.
