This year in the midwest they didn't have a warm summer at all. I think the same is true for every state east of the Mississippi and North of Florida. Most of the weathermen are predicting a real cold and snowy winter up there. They say that because they had a cold spring and no summer that this winter is going to be a really rough one. So with all these weather predictions. I'm hoping to see a glut of people from the North coming down to Florida to warm up and enjoy the sunshine. Lets all keep our fingers crossed.

Has anyone ever had clients that after months and months of negotiations on a foreclosure and filling out all the paper work involved with this bank foreclosure twice. These people decided that they are going to walk away from the deal and not pursue it after almost 5 months of work. The paper work still isnt totally completed we are still waiting for the estoppel letter from the home owners association. I can't believe how long all of this has taken. This was a cash deal that the bank let slip through their fingers. I don't know if it was the bank or the company that they hired to handle their negotiations and the sale of the property. Between foreclosure and short sales the time lines are really lengthy and sometimes become a problem. Short sales is a misnomer they should have called them forever sales.

I was just wondering if any realtors or brokers are doing BPO's for banks? I was also wondering what the going rate is for doing this service for the banks. Does the compensation also include travel expenses and how do you have to travel to complete the BPO's that they assign to you. If anyone out there could give me any information that they have regarding the BPO's either here in acitve rain or just send me the information in an email to my address in my active rain profile I would appreciate any help that anyone could offer me. After watching the news last night and hearing of all the people that were injured in car accidents. Then hearing of all the people that were injured in fireworks mishaps. I thought I would send this blog out to all my friends on Active Rain and wish that they had a happy and safe 4th of July. I hope and pray thaqt nopne of the my friends here or their families were any of the numbers that the news media quoted. They said that the 4th of July is one of the most deadly holidays. I am sitting here wondering if its just my perception or if its happening to other realtors It seems like loans are taking longer. I am in the midst of selling several short sales. I think they should rename them to forever sales. I have one that I have patiently been waiting for the bank to respond since January. My clients call me every week and continually tell me how frustrated they are. they say that if they really didnt like the property they would have been gone a long time ago. They have had their escrow money tied up since that time. They keep telling how much money they are losing and the fact that they moved money to pay for this property in cash. I just keep telling them sit tight and it will be done soon. they should hopefully be closing some time this month. I wonder have any other realtors experienced the same problem with short sales.
