Despite lower water levels due to work on Wolf Creek Dam, a sluggish economy, and $4.00/gal fuel prices, sales are only slightly off on and around Lake Cumberland and there is more property available than ever before. Many sellers are offering great incentives to buyers at attractive prices to keep the market going and if you have ever thought about buying on Lake Cumberland, I would expect that the next year or so will be some of the best buying opportunities before prices start escalating. … (2 comments)
