Tightened credit markets and sluggish real estate sales in Oakland County MI have sellers looking for ways to seal the deal. This week I saw a Birmingham builder do what he could to take control of the situation and set his properties apart. His answer: the land contract.
Not only is he offering land contracts, he's offering them at rates better than you will get at the bank. Today he advertised 4%! This morning my 5 year old and I made that annual visit to the pediatrician for her back to school check up.  Katya is a healthy child, but she “freaked out” last year when Justin, the nurse, had to prick her finger to do a blood test.  Ever since she has had a deathly fear of “blood shots.”

Over the last few weeks we have been working on the newest addition to our expanding e-real estate empire.  OK, I exaggerate slightly about the empire.  We have, however, worked diligently for the last year on improving our web presence to better serve our clients and to attract new clients.  So far, so good.  
miBirmingham.com is our newest site.  We plan to make it a destination for Birmingham MI real estate information and home sales.

I guess I am an undercover Realtor cowgirl. If I can, I will cast out my lasso and rope a buyer for my home sellers. No, not literally, though I confess I have been tempted. The cowgirl analogy sounds funny for a Realtor who works in the upscale suburbs of Metro Detroit, I know.
