My Ode to Myself About Gaining Weight Again....
 
In an effort to get back on track in the weight loss department, I have written this little ode to myself...

I just hate to be gaining weight again.
I really love going out to dinner with my friends.
But I just hate to be gaining weight again.

I Don't Get Out Much Anymore - 02/25/11 08:31 PM
I don't get out much anymore.
I mean it.  The last time I went somewhere on vacation was, I think, in 2001...no, maybe 2002.  It's been so long I can't remember. 
Now, this is not to say that I haven't taken time off, or been out of Maine.  My and my husband's "time off" periods just tend to be to do things like work on our investment properties.  Or finish renovation projects in the house we live in.

Ok. I did it. I made the mistake of reading the latest AR challenge - Surviving your Serengeti: An ActiveRain Challenge. I’ve seen a few things just in passing about this book but haven’t really paid attention to them, so my first thought was, “Oh, great, another self-help book. Like I don’t already have a dozen of those, unread.”
 
Of course I downloaded the first two chapters of Stefan Swanepoel’s Surviving the Serengeti: 7 Skills to Master Business and in Life.
And took the quiz.
