July was an outstanding month for property sales on the Outer Banks. Buyers have made their mind up that now is the right time to invest in the Outer Banks real estate market. So far in 2011 there are no signs of a slowdown as pending homes sales in July were at the highest levels for any previous July going all the way back to the boom year of 2005. short sales: Buyer's Came Out During Spring Break On The Outer Banks - 04/22/09 10:39 AM
Since the beginning of the year the Outer Banks real estate market slowly started to come to life. Now as April comes to a close based on the houses put under contract in February, March and so far this month I would revise the "slowly" to "definitely" come to life. From April 4th-19th, the traditional spring break which allowed buyers with school age children a chance come downs was a boom to the Outer Banks real estate market.

All of my clients tell me when we first talk about buying an Outer Banks beach house is they want a "GREAT DEAL".  There are so many "GREAT DEALS" on the Outer Banks right now that it's down right scary!

short sales: Outer Banks Real Estate Off To A Fast Start In 2009 - 03/03/09 02:13 PM
With two months in the books for 2009 it seems that the economic news in the country just keeps getting worse. However on the Outer Banks the real estate market just keeps getting better!!
In February there were more houses put under contract since the fall selling peak of October 2008. That means that the buyers that started to show up in January are buying and the buying pace is still picking up. I predict March will be just as good if not better.
