Beach nourishment will begin in Nags Head on June 4th according to the town website. The town has posted a time schedule so residents and visitors will know when particular areas will be affected. This will be a 24hr/7 day a week process and will run from June-October 2011. There will be some temporary beach closures while equipment is being moved so tourists are advised to contact their rental agency or the Town of Nags Head for the most up to date nourishment activity.
