1. Mike Frizziola's take on the current market conditions from a home inspector's perspective?
- Slow. I feel it will have a short turnaround for a little bit. With the government hopefully going to help jump start it. But I feel it won't last for a while. It will slow down again. We still have a lot of people out of work. OK, the government is helping but the people need to work.
2. What qualities of the area attracted you to want to start a business here?
- There is a demand, for people to have something instead of renting for a summer vacation, to own that place. Also, people were moving from north (North Jersey) to Ocean County since it got too high to live there.
3. What is the best part of owning a business on Ocean County?
- Good question. Because I live here.
4. What consumer friendly tips can you give people looking to hire someone in your industry?
- Make sure they have insurance and they hold a license through the state.
5. What are some pitfalls or "red flags" to avoid when hiring a home inspector?
- Some one (home inspector) without a license or someone with just a check list report.

If you are looking for something to do this weekend in Ocean County, here it is. Southern Regional's Theatre Company is currently performing their yearly musical, "Annie".
My family attended last night and all I can say is "oh my god." It was incredible! To think that all the actors are just kids, anywhere from 7th-12th grade is just amazing. The skills of these kids are shocking. It is definitely a must see. It all culminated with a standing ovation fro the entire audience. Great job guys!
Cat Country Cares for Kids St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Radiothon
On Thursday and Friday, February 19th and 20th, the members of the Muldowney "Family" Team volunteered their time to help the children of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Every year, in February, Cat Country 107.3 Radio Station hosts their annual Country Cares for Kids St. Jude Radiothon, at the Hamilton Mall, in Mayslanding, NJ, to collect money to assist the hospital.
This was year 11 for the radiothon. In the first 10 years, over $1,000,000 dollars was collected. This year the final total was over $87,000.
There were so many ways to donate, from becoming a Partner in Hope with a monthly contribution, to a silent auction, to donating a dollar to "buy a boot", or donate to spin a wheel and win a prize.
Every year, the Muldowney Team participates in this awesome cause and will continue to do so for years to come.
