There is a growing trend in using online transaction management programs. But are the programs worth the investment? Sure. However, the program selected is only as good as its users.
Some agents equate price with quality, other equate quality with ease of use. As a transaction coordinator, I prefer to place value on the ease of use and security of information. If your buyers and sellers are stumped with the program and find logging in a chore, it might not be worth it. Avoid having to perform double entries of your transaction activities by exporting the activities from Transaction Point to your Outlook or Outlook Express using the iCalendar feature.
Instructions:
Step 1
Open Transaction PointSelect Calendar from the link on the upper right sideSelect exportSelect the iCalendar optionClick OKStep 2
On the pop-up screen, select the option to download the file. If you have a pop-up blocker, you will not see this screen.Choose where to save the file. Save the file to your desktop or the My Document folder.Go to Outlook or Outlook ExpressSelect File from the upper left side of your screen and then the Import/Export … (1 comments)
