2007 A Big Year for Renovations In Canada In an article recently posted by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation they note that in a survey of 10 major Canadian cities, 37% of homeowner households renovated their primary residence in 2007.The main reason given for the renovations in all 10 centres was to update, add value or prepare the home for sale.The second most popular reason was to make necessary repairs to the home.Remodelling rooms was the most popular type of renovation.
