Yes there are lots of buyer in our market.  They are very price savvy, want the best value and are not in a panic.  But they have money and when the right price presents itself, they are willing to make an offer.
In the last 14 days the Durham and District Real Estate Board reported 93 sales in Oshawa and Whitby.  89 were freehold and 4 were condos. 
The population of Oshawa is approx 146,000 and Whitby is approx 14,000.
Interestingly the condo sales were even with 2 sales each in Oshawa and Whitby.
