Well the Hot, Hot, Hot weather is here and not going away anytime soon. Along with the hot weather comes lots of problems with your lawn. Dry spots, weeds, bugs & fungus. Having a great lawn is not rocket science is just requires some simple steps.
1. Don't overwater, instead try watering less days but for longer on each zone. This will help promote strong root growth.
2. Move your blade up. Most people cut the lawn way too low, exposing the roots to the hot sun effectively burning up the entire lawn.

South Johnson County is quickly becoming a hot bed for cyclist. If you don't know about the Deanna Rose Farmstead, you are missing one of the truly great Overland Park Attactions. Where else can you feed the goats and the cost is FREE, I repeat FREE.

I know that I have been waiting for this day for a while. No it's not my birthday but the opening of Cris Cakes. Some of the best pankakes you will ever have. After years of traveling the all you can eat pankake circut cris cakes is opening it's first sit down restaurant. Located in the Iron Horse Plaza at the corner of 151st & Nall, I will be the first in line for some Mickey Mouse cakes.
