Here in our part of the real estate world, life has been pretty slow.  After the tax credit expired, things came to a grinding halt, for all practical purposes.  And to add insult to injury, Rural Development money ran out.  This is a loan program for rural areas like Owasso.  Rural Development mortgages require no PMI, so they're a preferred program for many buyers.

Life is funny.  You just never know where you're going to learn your lesson each day.  But almost every day, I learn something from someone.  And sometimes it happens in the most unexpected and weirdest of ways.
Like yesterday, for example.
A gentleman in our church passed away sometime Sunday night and was found Monday morning.  So I went to the funeral home yesterday to pay my respects.  It was about noon and when I pulled up I thought, "The place doesn't look open.  I hope they're here."

Floor Duty.  Ahh Floor Duty...the opportunity to take prospective phone calls, get to walk in clients first and advance your business.
Whoo Hoo!  Good stuff, right? 
It's a long story, but in our particular office, the phone doesn't ring a whole lot when you're on floor duty.  It could be that we're in a smaller suburb and we just don't have the phone traffic.  It could be for other reasons, I don't know.  It does ring...just not as much as I'd like!
