Go Ahead and Get Political...You Don't Need Those Clients Whom You're Offending!
I've begun deleting people from Facebook.  It's mostly Real Estate Agents.  And it's Real Estate agents who are posting political stuff that is designed to be offensive.  Now don't get me wrong.  Having a political opinion is smart.  We all need to be engaged in the development of our government and how it operates.  But when Real Estate agents go offensively political on Facebook or in their online blogs and say things about the party with whom they do not agree, they aren't being too smart.  They'll put cartoons and YouTube videos and all kinds of stuff … (7 comments)

If you've been around Active Rain very long, you know that the subject of political posts usually hits a pretty raw nerve with many people.  The latest uprising was over a philosophical post that someone took exception too.  Someone else wrote about it and all three posts were featured.  If you missed the party don't worry, there will be others.

Finally the election is over.  This is a day I've long been waiting for because in the world of real estate, election years slow down your business.  At least this is what the big dog, long time Realtors in my office tell me.
So now that we're past November 4th, I have to wonder what happens and where do we go from here?

Now that the conventions are over, and Sarah Palin has been added to the mix, it seems like the political rhetoric posts here at AR have really picked up. 
I love it that we live in a FREE country where we can discuss and debate our choices and positions.  Sometimes I like to read what people write about their candidate and why they are supporting that person.  Sometimes, it is really hard to read some posts because you just kind of go, "Is that person really THAT biased and bent and hateful???"
