I know that there will be some in the Real Estate world who will disagree with the premise of this blog.  And that is okay.  If Realtor.com is a place where you harvest business successfully, then that's awesome.  But I'm betting that there will be many more who will agree with me that the current billing, structure and mode of operation of Realtor.com is a dinosaur.

I was surfing the web this morning and came across an interesting post concerning Trulia on BlueRoof Blog in Salt Lake City, UT.  Here's a quote from the article...
"Trulia's model is built around using broker information to position itself above brokers, hence becoming valuable enough that brokers want to use the site instead of relying on their own websites to get business."
The post goes on to talk about how real estate brokers are actually hurting themselves by using companies such as Trulia, Zillow, Homegain and even Craigslist.
