Could have made this post a WORDLESS- you know a picture is worth a thousand anyway.
Shouts out to KAY Concrete of Monett 417-235-3628 for the awesome job on the floor pour.
The crew had the pad poured for our new Auditorium first thing Tuesday morning.  I snuck in a couple of shots to share before heading to crash a 1st grade Holiday Party.
  
 
 
I have to say I am so proud of how our Contractor is working so well with the Subs.  This project is flying along.  We should be seeing walls up soon.

Mt Vernon, MO Real Estate (page one on Google) - 12/15/09 11:46 PM
I received a call this morning from a sales person (don't we just love starting the day reaching for the checkbook- NOT).
He had the DEAL of a life time just for me.  For a ridiculously low monthly price he could get "My Name" on the first page of Google. 
I politely listened to his spiel, and then declined his offer.  Some how I think I made him MAD!  He suggested that I didn't understand the great opportunity he was offering.  I explained that paying for ranking was not in my business plan at this time.  (I hope we can still … (3 comments)

One of the many fun things events that I get to participate in while hanging with friends in my social peer group is CONTESTS! 
I have been know to enter one every now and then.  Some I win, some I don't but each one has been learning experience all in its own.
I have even been know to actually read the requirements of submission and somehow follow most of them.  Fingers crossed that in this case by doing a re-blog I have hit the nail on the head so to speak.  By marking off the TO-DO's I can now spend … (2 comments)

Monett 9th street Church of Christ remodel project - 12/14/09 10:30 AM
 The first time we visited the church in Monett was in 1986.  We came to town for a family wedding.  The fellowship building was used as the site for the reception.  If I remember right the trees out front were a bit smaller then.
We moved to Monett in 1995.  Our family has been blessed to have opportunity to worship and work with the church while living here.  This post is a little 'shout out' of "way to go" for the building project that is underway.  The Church is know for its Missions works in other countries.  It is nice to … (0 comments)

I have had several people request that I blog about the progress on our building.  I don't want to do a twenty part series or anything grand but do want to share a couple of the latest goings on:
As a disclaimer, I am not an historian, even though I have been actively following the process and doing my part to add to the chaos, I have not been taking notes as to dates or times.  I am doing well to get photos and have an idea as to the month they were taken in.

As a listing agent I often get to give my 2-cents opinion on what to 'DO' with the over flow from cleaning a property to sell or from a re-model project.  I have a great place to share with my customers/clients.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Springfield, MO, accepts donations of new and used home improvement supplies, furniture and appliances.

I have been getting phone inquires on this listing for a couple of months.  Most have been generated from seeing the listing sign or other print media adds.  What I really need is a buyer who is seriously interested in a short 40 (36 acres m/l). 
This property is North of MT Vernon, MO outside the town of Miller.  It is fenced, has a pond and a creek.  Room to build and priced to sell.  The seller is possibly interested in doing Owner Finance.
