This morning we had the opportunity to hear Stefan Swanepoel speak at Keller Williams Family Reunion about his new visionary book Surviving Your Serengeti. What an awesome experience! I wish I could have recorded the whole thing but here's a short clip to give you an idea. In his speech he describes the character traits of seven different animals and how they relate to humans.

In a normal winter in Springfield MO, we will get one or two small snowfalls with just a few inches of snow. The snow usually stays around a few days and then its gone. Not this year!  Last week we had the "Blizzard of 2011". Then Friday night we got more and they are forecasting more next week! Enough Already! As you can see our driveway is on a hill. Normally we just shovel it and don't have any problems. This time we decided to bring in the heavy equipment!

Groundhog Day or Blizzard of 2011 in Ozark MO? - 02/02/11 08:20 AM
Well, groundhog day in Ozark MO this year is a little different than usual. We are digging out from the Blizzard of 2011! Yesterday we got about two inches of sleet with 8 inches or more of snow on top of that. Combine that with strong winds and really cold temperatures and it was not a day to be out and about.
