5 Things I Wish Someone had Told Me After I Got My License - 03/21/07 12:31 AM
I am close to hitting my one year mark in this profession.  It has been an exciting year with many challenges that have come up.  As I look back, I can see several areas where it really would have been nice to have a few helpful hints along the way.  Ultimately, I think that each of these items would have allowed me to increase my learning curve.  With that said, I thought I would share my hard earned wisdom with other new agents.
Lesson #1 Sometimes terms are as important as price
This is really a very important point to know and understand.  … (61 comments)

4th Quarter Home Prices - 03/06/07 01:04 PM
Here is a link to a very interesting chart outlining the year to year price of homes in the 4th quarter of 2006 vs. the same time frame in 2005.  I am lucky enough to be in the #141 ranked market.  We dropped over 7% from 2005 to 2006.  On the bright side for the some of you, there is quite a nice number of markets that grew over 5% during that same time frame.

This post has nothing to do with real estate at all.  It really is meant to be a few thoughts to prompt people to not be so involved in their own life and the task at hand.  Sometimes the right thing to do is to stop what you are doing and help out a fellow human being.
I guess the key thing is to explain why I decided to make the previously mentioned comments.  I was driving down a fairly busy local street, not a 4 lane road but a fairly busy local street.  As I am driving, I clearly see senior … (2 comments)
