The drive from Fremont to Sacramento required for us to take several freeways, the main ones being I-880, I-680 and I-80. In certain sections of the freeways are carpool lanes, intended to ease traffic especially during peak hours.
Interestingly, carpool rules differ from one freeway to another, that’s why I had to constantly look for the carpool signs to make sure I followed the rules and avoid being penalized a huge $381.
Entering I-880’s carpool lane was almost automatic for me and my husband; I knew carpool meant a minimum of 2 persons per vehicle. But (2 comments)

Did August just escape us? I was hoping summer would stick around a little longer, but that can't happen now when August has made its way out just like that! And September seems to be going like crazy as if somebody put the metal to the pedal. But let's step back and review the month that just happened. In the real estate market, we've read several contradictory statements - the market is improving, sales are up, sales are down, foreclosures are down, defaults are rising. It's very confusing! Fremont has the largest inventory of homes among the three East Bay cities. This is expected as Fremont is the biggest city both in terms of population and area. Over two-thirds of Fremont's available inventory (active) are regular sales. On the other hand, Union City and Newark have regular sales and short sales on equal footing. Bank owned properties occupy a small percentage of the housing supply in all areas, but it occurs relatively more frequently in (0 comments)
