MARKET REPORT Alameda CA The year is almost over, and I wanted to see how the market behaved in terms of list price and actual sold price starting January 1 2011 through November 30, 2011. Observations: High-end properties. Six properties over $1,000,000 were sold during this time. Among them were two distressed properties. One bank-owned property listed for $1,079,900, was in contract within 21 days, and closed escrow at over list price for $1,100,000. One short sale property originally listed for $1,150,000, then re-listed at the short sale approved price of $1,080,000 and was in contract within 25 days. Average (5 comments)
