house hunting: "All By Yourself" Is Not The Best Way To Look For A New House - 01/03/12 03:13 PM
Are you looking for a new home in New York? Like many of your fellow house hunters you are starting your search on line and that's a very good place to start. I encourage all my clients to spend time looking at information about the areas they are considering moving to and to look at the on line listings of houses to get a basic idea of the housing costs in the area. But have you ever bought a house before? If so, and you are thinking about moving again, I will bet it was a while ago. So when I (2 comments)
house hunting: Something Of Interest For Anyone Thinking Of Buying A House This Year - 01/07/10 09:06 AM
Are you interested in buying a new home this year? Well if you are seriously considering that possibility, the time to move is now. I don't want to alarm you but Interest Rates are starting to climb again. The first thing we saw was that there was a huge bag of trash in the kitchen, ut oh. The tour of each room (11 comments)
house hunting: Don't Be Fooled By What You Heard... Real Estate Is Moving And You Had Better Run To Catch It! - 04/22/09 07:20 AM
Do you hear that? It is the sound of the crowds rushing in behind you. If you have been looking around at real estate for a while and holding off to see what the market will do you may find that houses are moving more quickly. When I call to schedule appointments I am hearing a lot more of "that has an accepted offer" and I am getting calls telling me that some properties scheduled for a weekend home tour have accepted an offer before I can get my buyers out there. There are some buyers who are under the impression (6 comments)
My blog will deal with working with buyers, my life as a mother of 3 teenagers and how to fit real estate into the other aspects of my world. I will also speak on volunteer efforts to assist my community
