Halloween is Here!! So When is Trick or Treat in Central Louisiana?

With Halloween landing on this Sunday some of our smaller communities in CENTRAL LOUISIANA will be holding their Trick or Treat on SATURDAY OCTOBER 30, 2010 instead of SUNDAY OCTOBER 31, 2010.
Here is the TRICK OR TREAT schedule for CENTRAL LOUISIANA:
Alexandria, Pineville and Ball all are asking trick-or-treaters to participate between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31
Cheneyville, Forest Hill, Glenmora, Lecompte and Woodworth will celebrate Halloween on Oct. 30, with times ranging from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Attention: 14 Parishes in Louisiana now are under a Burn Ban!! - 10/01/10 10:16 PM

Louisiana has been experiencing EXTREMELY DRY WEATHER WITH NO RAIN IN SIGHT! Due to this there are currently burn bans in effect for the following Parishes in Louisiana:
Caddo Caldwell Winn LaSalle West Carroll Catahoula Madison Calcasieu Avoyelles Claiborne Grant Bienville Jeff Davis Union These are the Parishes listed as under a burn ban as of this date as listed on The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry.
If you are wanting to burn, no matter what parish you are in, you should call your local Policy Jury Office for information!
