New Appraisal Laws Slowing the Market - 05/13/09 11:45 AM
According to a recent new Law by the Federal Reserve Board, the appraisal market has been hit with lower fees and new appraisal rulings.1.Appraisal Fees that the Banks are charged have been reduced from $400.00 to $200.00. Which means that the Quality Appraisers are leaving the market since they will not reduce their income by 50%.
2. If an appraisal comes in low by an appraiser the bank can only have 2 appraisals and they have to take the lower one.The result is that the banks do not have enough appraisers to process the current loans so we are being advised … (3 comments)

Banks are still store housing more foreclosures because they do not want to flood the market and lower the prices in one big drop.The lending institutions are trying to control the real estate market drop.

Forced to act against your conscience? Not in my lifetime have I ever seen a government in America forcing someone to perform job acts that go against their personal morals and beliefs without an option to opt out? Interesting Daily Breeze article I ran across. Locally, I guess we have our own issues to worry about from the economy.
 I heard yesterday on Glenn Beck, Fox Nation that some developers are bull dozing their projects in California and saying that the Land is worth more than the completed projects. According to this Wall Street Journal article, it looks like we have another whole set of problems to deal with from lack of bank financing.

2 Best Home Based Business in America - 05/03/09 01:55 PM
I did not plan on getting into home based business but I did start after 25 years in Real Estate thinking residual income!
I did not track these businesses down they found me.
One business I helped my daughters get into that has been laid off and the other is a business that a friend invited me to. While I was starting I recieved phone calls from others soliciting realtors...I found that if you are part time. like a part time Mom I know is making 2000.00 a month after working the business 16 mos.
