Yes the Palos Verdes Peninsula, only 40 minutes from downtown Los Angeles is showing only a 12.2% drop in the last 15 mos of this national housing crisis...Not to mention the real estate is holding steady, Palos Verdes also has the Number one Schools in the State of California.
Now the only question is for those waiting to buy is not when will the property prices drop lower but how fast can I buy so that I can avoid the interest rates rising...Rates are the only enemy against your pocketbook savings in this market so don't procrsatinate too long.

Here it is the drop in the Palos Verdes real estate for the last 15 months...Only 12.2% in the Palos Verdes Peninsula..This is taking into consideration the Peninsula as a whole. Condominiums and Townhouses are not includes only single family homes.
The big question is not when to buy as far as home prices go but how fast can I buy before the interest rates go up! This is where the big savings can be seen in your pocket book..We are expecting the interest rates to go up so stop procrastinating and jump into that new home asap!!!

Yes, It looks great, another discount broker, and here we sit waiting for the next fling of latest internet discount offers disappear but how many innocent buyers do they take down with them.
It is definitely a case of forgive them for they know not what they do. When they have worked in th business for as long as I have they will understand my article and my sentiments for the unprotected and uninformed home-buyer.

Yes, that is what is happening in our Real Esate Market. Just like the Press to play up the bad and down play the good. Reality is that our market in the SOuth Bay is up for 2007 14.3% Yes some pockets, like the Townhomes and Condo market or homes under the median of $1million are droping but on the whole no, not really.
How much damage control can we do as Realtors to educate the public . Yes, foreclosures are up but not here.

On all the articles I read about the market, prediciting the market is usually done with a rear view mirror affect.
but in some markets like the south Bay the market is increasing from 2006 up to 14.3% as per the Daily Breeze. California Association of Realtors is predicting a 6% drop in the Los Angeles County Coastal areas but this does not necessarily mean the South Bay.
