I just read an interesting article from Senior World talking about how a Hermosa Beach woman was being stolen form by her caregiver and since the woman was blind, suffered from dementia and she had no idea she was being ripped off.  This is really sad and she also like so many seniors in the South Bay have no family that lives near by. But Thanks to the Caregiver's supervisor that reported financial descrepancies to the Police and missing checks the woman's caregiver was apprehended.
