Happy Birthday! - 10/17/07 01:47 PM
Ok, I'm going to share with you my absolute favorite tip of all time.  The one I get the most return on, the one that has caused my file cabinet to be covered with thank you notes from clients' children.
The Happy Birthday flyer.
After a closing I routinely call my clients a few weeks later to see how they're settling in.  I ask them for the birth dates of all members of their family.  For the adults, they receive a flyer from a local bakery offering them a free 8 inch birthday cake, or any cake of equal value.  (I only have … (7 comments)

Every public opinion survey of older adults indicates that the vast majority desire to remain in their own home as long as possible.  According to a recent AARP housing survey, 83 percent of older Americans want to stay in their current homes for the rest of their lives.  They find their homes comfortable and convenient and feel secure and independent there.  However, as people age, the design of their homes plays an increasingly important role in how they manage their daily activities.  Homes that were perfectly convenient at age 55 can … (0 comments)

Use Free Internet Tools! - 10/17/07 01:18 PM
There are free tools online to help you get your website picked up by search engines!
Search "keywords" or "keyword tools" and see what you get...What you want to do is put in the terms you think the public uses when searching, and see what kind of a match you get from the keyword tool that you're using.  If you see terms with a high percentage of usage that you don't have on your site, get them on there and tag them!
It's easier than you think.  Write a paragraph about what you do, to put on your homepage, and include the popular … (1 comments)

If you're thinking about putting your home up for sale this, there are things you can do to make sure your home will "show" as well as possible.  The object of these tips is not to spend money, but that any money, time, or effort you spend is spent wisely.
Take advantage of a Free Market Analysis.  Many realtors offer this service, and it really goes a long way toward helping you decide what purchase price to ask for your home, what repairs may be necessary to sell, and if any updating might … (1 comments)

I have decided to become a designated driver - my professional designations help drive my business success!  Re/Max Realtors hold the most professional designations.  I am currently involved in an Otteau Appraisal course, which I think will personally benefit me, as well as being something I'd be proud to tell my clients.
What I'm most excited about right now is becoming a Professiona Home Stager.  I think, in this market especially, clients are very interested in what they can do to make their home more … (0 comments)
