Last night 7/18/07, the main dinning area of Lindy's new building opened for the first time. My wife & I were sitting on the outside deck and decided to go in for dinner. The food was excellent!! I had the seafood pot pie, which was sea scallops, shrimp, craw-fish in a spicy cream sauce served over mashed potatoes with a piece of pastry on top. I thought it was outstanding. My wife had the Prime Rib served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. She said it was excellent, and I concur.

We also ate there the 4th Of July for dinner on the new outside deck. The dinner that night was also excellent. Their new chef David seems to be a great find. Keep up the good work.

It's Not A Game anymore , It's A Business. 

This past Friday, June 15th I went down to Wrigly Field, and watched the CUBS beat the Padres. I know the CUBS are NOT having the BANNER SEASON we all hope for every year, but they still have the greatest fans in all of baseball. Being at Wrigly (Win or Lose) is something everyone should experiance at least once in a lifetime.

As I watched the game, it dawned on me that the CUBS will be SOLD at the end of this season and the status of Wrigly Field is in LIMBO??? Wrigly is the last of the old time great stadiums, and I'd really hate to see it go the route of Brooklyns Ebitts Field, Cincinnatis Crosly Field, N.Y. Giants Polo Grounds, N.Y. Yankees Old Yankee Stadium and Pittsburghs Forbes Field.
