Go green but not in my backyard.  We all know that it is crucial to the survival of the planet that we decrease dependence on fossil fuels and switch to alternative energy sources such as wind and solar power.  However nobody seems to want the necessary infostructure in their backyard.
We are seeing some staunch environmentalists join the vocal naysayers when an alternative energy project is proposed for one of their favorite areas.  Balancing the different sides of the equation will become increasingly more complex as we go green.
