I recently wrote of my renewed interest in Feng Shui. It was inspired by a visitor to my open house. He found it of the utmost importance in considering the home I have listed. He did mention that there are several schools of Feng Shui. I am not sure what he meant exactly, but I assume that he may have been referring to types or depth. It is almost February 14 and "love is in the air". For someone who has lost love, the love and joy remains in our heart. The warm gentle light is within. All that know me well, know my passion for animals. In my office at DeHOFF REALTORS, the joke has been that I drive around in between real estate appointments and look for stray dogs. Some even have taken the joke a step further and say folks had better keep their dogs in the home, as I am out stealing them. Of course it is all in jest. As I sit at my computer, flipping between real estate work and the CNN site, I have many other thoughts in my cluttered brain. I am not alone in having the economy foremost on my mind. Featuring the beautiful designs of Itchiku Kubota, we are in good company with the other presentation city-San Diego, California. The biography of the late Itchiku Kubota is a fascinating one. Members of his family have spent time in Canton, during this set up and introduction to the Canton Museum. The number one reason a home does not sell is price.
However, put your "buyer's eyes" on and take a good hard look at a few other considerations first.
Look at CONDITION. Sometimes the upgrades buyers demand are just not in your budget. If your home has older counter tops in the kitchen for example, then you need to play up the benefits your home does offer. Great inspiring tips can easily be seen on HGTV and similar.
