Discover Louisville Festival - 10/06/10 04:34 PM
“The best things in life are free...” the song goes. The Beatles could have been singing about the inaugural Discover Louisville Festival and Ear X-tacy Concert on October 12, 2010. This event is sponsored by the University of Louisville, its students, and area businesses and features the bands Company of Thieves, Summer Darling, and the headliner OK Go.
It all takes place on U of L's Belknap Campus at the Grawemeyer Hall Oval beginning at 6 PM with music starting at 7 PM.  Free parking is available at U of L’s lot on Third just south of Eastern Parkway.

Another Fun Saturday Night in Louisville, KY! - 10/05/10 03:22 PM
Stomp your feet to the sounds of the Blues Brothers, Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi, this Saturday night (October 10) in Louisville at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage. The event begins with cocktails served at 6:30 at the Center; 1701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.
Tickets are $350.00 and proceeds go to Nations World Food Program. Call (502) 874-2880 for information.
No word if the Bluesmobile will be there.
