Google seems to really love Google Plus. Now that I think about it, it shares a similar name :-)
With YouTube being Google's. With Blog Talk Radio being Google's. and With Google plus being Google's, does a person need a Google Login?
There is analytics, webmaster tools, keyword searches, OMG - 70%+ people use Google as a search engine, get your own passport and get an Google Account Today.
If you are not within the Google 7 Pack with your local Real Estate business, you are hurting yourself. It's free and will get you lots of traffic.
"We don't do that!!!" - However, we do know some great Santa Clarita property management companies that handle rentals, leases and deal "only" with property management.
It is of benefit to only function as a property management company? That is a completely loaded question. If I answer in the affirmative, then the real estate agents that deal with property management, rentals and leases get bruised a bit. If I answer in the negative - then the Property Management companies that have structured their businesses, only to function as property managers, get bent.
I will say this, during my stint of 17 years full time with the LAPD, there was a bit of overlap between the time I severed my full time job as a cop to do full-time real estate.
If Paris had not been the "cornerstone" of our real estate business at that time, we never would have made it this far today. (possibly we would not have made it at all)
Santa Clarita Radio Stations are few and far between. We have a local "traditional" radio station that has been at the top for a long time. The mission of our Santa Clarita Radio Station, a "non traditional" web based one, is to not be about sponsors but real people.
People starting businesses, people that are "real" wanting to talk about themselves and their business. More importantly, what is they do to give VALUE to their clients?
Our Next Show, This Monday at 1030am, can be listened to live by anyone calling the "Call In" number at:
(805) 727-7098
You can also join the Santa Clarita Radio Chat room at the same time if you want to interact with others that are busy being all about the Buzz. -
We have clients ask us often about Mobile real estate search. They are not, however, interested on the homes that are driven in on wheels.
They want to search from their phones, pda's, iphone's, blackberry's, smart phones, droid, tablets, etc.
Here are a few things that I looked for when getting a Mobile Search platform for our clients.
I wanted it to be accessable with the fewest keystrokes as possible. There was no reason to have a client need to type in a long URL to get to the mobile search page. Typing on phones can be tedious.
I also wanted our mobile search platform to utilize a person's built in GPS, global positioning system, that most phones have. This way, a client can find homes that are listed for sale in a neighborhood they are driving within, that they like. This would also eliminate the need for picking up property flyers (the specific listing would be able to be saved in their phone!). Our Platform does this by the client hitting the "favorite" key along the botton of the mobile search interface.
I needed the search to provide search results in both list and map form. DS did one better and added a Hybrid Satellite view of the listings that render as for sale within the Mobile Real Estate search platform.
I also needed our clients to be able to contact us if they found anything of interest. We have two different ways within the Mobile Search platform for our clients to contact us - they can "one button" dial. Or they can send an email, after stopping their vehicle, of course :-)
Accessability Refined. Simple to install. You don't need a specific url or to build an "APP", installation program. All you need to do is take the "mobile code" and place it into the "head" of your branded website or wordpress blog. After you do, anytime anyone accesses your website from a mobile device, the system senses it and gives them a choice of using an optimized search platform (the one you see pictured) - or they can decline and visit your "regular" website.
Here is a quick YouTube Video we put together showing our clients our new Mobile Santa Clarita Real Estate search platform:
It has not be an easy rope to tow - but we have it together when it comes to web presentation for the cities that compose the Santa Clarita Valley and all of our followers real estate interests.

Here is the run down - the cities that compose the Santa Clarita Valley are Castaic, Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch and Valencia. There are also properties that have been included, recently, as part of the city of Santa Clarita.
It used to be the case that all properties were funneled into one of the six cities - but today, there are a couple of handfulls of active listings in what is now considered "Santa Clarita."
That would appear to be about 4 levels deep. It all starts with the name of a tract - Stoney Point. Then I address the area - Bridgeport. After that, I hit the city - Valencia CA (not to be confused with spain...) I then move to the over-all area - Santa Clarita Valley, which consists of 6 cities - Castaic, Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch and Valencia.
Whew - it is enough to give a person severe brain "lock".
