Referrals on ActiveRain can be a God-send. Most of the time we are those that refer to the first responders. I appreciate that coming from the line of work that I used to be in on a full-time basis (lapd).
We have a few "oars" in the water. However, some of the agents on ActiveRain have hit us up recently to be our "sole referred to" agents. I thought that was smart and we have started the build out.

“Old Data”. In fact, some of the larger real estate syndication search websites show properties that are in escrow as being active, on purpose! They are built around making $$$ from your personal info!

As part of our, "We Protect and serve our Clients as they have protected and served us..." mantra, we entered the Short Sale world early on.
Today, we met with a client that had short sold her home back in 1993, the last and most recent Short Sale market.
It is interesting to hear about her story, which took place when I was very new on the LAPD - before Paris and I were homeowners.

Google seems to really love Google Plus. Now that I think about it, it shares a similar name :-)
With YouTube being Google's. With Blog Talk Radio being Google's. and With Google plus being Google's, does a person need a Google Login?
There is analytics, webmaster tools, keyword searches, OMG - 70%+ people use Google as a search engine, get your own passport and get an Google Account Today.
If you are not within the Google 7 Pack with your local Real Estate business, you are hurting yourself. It's free and will get you lots of traffic.

"We don't do that!!!" - However, we do know some great Santa Clarita property management companies that handle rentals, leases and deal "only" with property management.
It is of benefit to only function as a property management company? That is a completely loaded question. If I answer in the affirmative, then the real estate agents that deal with property management, rentals and leases get bruised a bit. We have clients ask us often about Mobile real estate search. They are not, however, interested on the homes that are driven in on wheels.
They want to search from their phones, pda's, iphone's, blackberry's, smart phones, droid, tablets, etc.
Here are a few things that I looked for when getting a Mobile Search platform for our clients.
I wanted it to be accessable with the fewest keystrokes as possible. There was no reason to have a client need to type in a long URL to get to the mobile search page. Typing on phones can be tedious.

Here is the run down - the cities that compose the Santa Clarita Valley are Castaic, Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch and Valencia. There are also properties that have been included, recently, as part of the city of Santa Clarita.
It used to be the case that all properties were funneled into one of the six cities - but today, there are a couple of handfulls of active listings in what is now considered "Santa Clarita."
