Everything has to be updated - there are new Internet related numbers as they correspond to people searching on line - new variables with reference to buyers finding homes and closing the same. Before, 2001, publication print was the main medium that agents would utilize to get their listings sold - Best representing their Sellers of Real Estate.
In fact, if you remember, the newspaper was a primary medium, Homes and Land, the Real Estate Book - But after 2002 - those numbers started to shrink at an exponential rate.

We get asked this question a lot, not because it is confusing and definately not directly. But folks wonder where I am getting my data when reporting on the Santa Clarita Valley Real Estate market.
I tell them that I obtain everything I show my viewers, from our Exclusive Client Resources located on the Paris911 Home page. We are now entering into the "duplicate content" realm. If you have been blogging for any length of time, you know that duplicate content is not looked at from a very kind vantage point from some of the major search engines.
In fact, Google hates it. They have some pretty fancy folks that build algorithm's so that their search engine is the cleanest available.
Will having your Active Rain Data moved to Posterous cause issues with regard to duplicate content?
What would be your reasoning to make this move?

Watching for the past few hours with regard to the new listings that have come onto the market in the Santa Clarita Valley gives some of our buyers hope - we have already fired off offers on some of these listings. But nothing is secure until the bank or seller reviews them and says "You Got It"!!!! That is when the Alarms, Bells and Whistles go off and we get to call our Buyers with the Good News.

We do have a team of negotiators that work the Short Sale End of our Business: - our buyers agents, assistant and both Paris and I make the phone calls matching the personality of the team member with the one of the Loss Mitigation Person.

It has been told to me that there is a fine line between being a good representative and not "steering" the client.
Here is my take on the statement an "old-timer" agent told me over 10 years ago. I am More Police Officer than anything at this point. 17 years regular and now a Reserve. We all have to remember that this market, bank owned foreclosure's and Distressed properties, will not be here forever. It was before and will be again, but to stay this way, it is impossible.
I would say that we need to remember that we do help each other. On the long tail, we all interact, sell each other's listings and owe it to each other to be upfront and honest.
Nice thought - but of course when you have human beings involved, we fall short of this test.

Well I do. The Blog - Active Rain and Kinetic Knowledge. Being able to pour ones mind out on paper - or at least on the "Box" as I affectionately call the Computer.
I have been at it over 1.5 years now - If I remember, Active Rain was my first exposure to Blogging - and it has paid off in Big Ways.
Lead Generation, Referral's, and massive amount's of SEO with the Search engines. Pretty smart, whomever came up this this Brain-Storm, would never have to pay for a drink around The Paris911 Team at REMAX. (address to follow :-)
