I have seen some interesting posts and updates on Facebook walls from our Fellow Real Estate agents. Nothing beats a face to face connection. I suppose that is why Facebook has caught on in popularity. Remember the days of AOL chat? Or the other chat rooms around when the internet was in its infancy? When you meet a new client of have a new connection- have you asked them, "hey, are you on FaceBook?" It is definitely worth the question. There you will find the same types of people as your client is. I have been asking myself the question whether or not Social Networks like FaceBook are enough, or are there reasons to develop others at a much smaller scale - like in a particular city? I am not sure what a person's motivation is by joining a social network, is it for a feeling of acceptance? Is it for the Money? Connecting to old friends? To Stalk past ones? (that was a joke - but seems to be a true-ism if you see some of the social network horror stories) We live in Valencia CA. So on FaceBook, we can connect, but

If you are looking for something that is different that might just push you over the edge with your prospective clients, then you might have to stop looking and check this out. Another resource that was pitched to me by Jeff Turner - although not verbally this time - but as i was updating my payment for the Real Estate Shows Resource - this is amazing and I have already done some damage with it. Technology has been moving at an alarming rate - There is so much out there we as Realtor's get hit with on a daily basis - especially if we are hitting high on the organic search engines with our keywords. Because if clients are finding us - So are the vendors. (click here for more info) Here is a do it yourselfer - TINY URL - http://TinyUrl.com If you are a hyperlinker or are working within some of the other networking sites - Twitter and Facebook etc. you will be able to now make your normal website address different and much smaller.
